In all the Sacred places in the world, we find peace - either brought there by the people who bring their own energy of love, faith, and connection to the space, or left behind long ago by an eternal and unknown Divinity. It is in these places that my soul longs for serenity, quiet and solitude. I find it so easy to settle into a meditative state under the sun lit skies, pure water bubbling up from miles below the surface, and granite that was laid in a perfect circle a millennia ago.
Some of my most favorite places, like the Blue Hole in New Mexico, have a magnetism that cannot be denied. And even now I long to be in that space. Cold, dark, sapphire blue water above and below me, beaconing me to push my limits and past my comfort zone. I'm fantasizing now of the day when I will be back there again - and what kinds of spells I will cast in my heart - in this sacred space.
